In 2006, a handful of New York families and friends affected by bleeding disorders went to Riverside Park and started the first Hemophilia Walk.
We realized that by standing together we could make a difference for ourselves and our children. There was excitement in the air that first beautiful day, and the promise of a better tomorrow. Many of you were there with us, and many more joined in the years that followed.
The 2016 Walk teams raised over $313,616.00. The 2017 Walk raised over $401,000!
This year, under the new brand, Unite for Bleeding Disorders, the NYC Walk will be its biggest and best year yet! The 2018 Walk will once again be held in Riverside Park (enter at 103rd Street).
